FTX recently build our pool and spa combo and did an amazing job from the construction quality and custom finishes. One of the best experiences I had was able to deal directly with the owner Gio to address any concerns and final design. He really takes pride in his work. FTX is not the cheapest or the most expensive pool company out there but if like to build a custom and higher quality pool they are your best choice. Overall very satisfied with the final product

Expert Landscape Grading in Dallas, TX
Landscape grading in Dallas, TX is one of the most practical steps a homeowner can take to protect their yard and foundation. At FamousTxpoolsandconstruction, we reshape the ground surface so water flows away from your home, not toward it. Dallas sits on expansive Blackland Prairie clay that swells when wet and shrinks during dry spells. That constant soil movement shifts grades over time, creating low spots, pooling water, and erosion along fence lines and planting beds. Our process starts with a full site walk to read how water currently moves across your property. We identify negative slopes, settled areas, and high-risk zones near your foundation. From there, we cut high spots, fill low areas, and compact the corrected grade so it holds. Where surface reshaping alone is not enough, we pair grading with swales or other drainage features to move larger water volumes safely off the lot. If your Dallas yard holds standing water after rain, call FamousTxpoolsandconstruction to schedule a site evaluation.

Landscape Grading FAQ
Common questions about landscape grading in Dallas, TX.
Your yard likely needs grading if water pools near your foundation or in low spots after rain in Dallas. Visible erosion, soggy turf that stays wet, and uneven ground are also clear signs.
Grading resolves standing water caused by negative slopes and settled ground on Dallas properties. If heavy clay soil or a high water table is also a factor, we may pair grading with a swale or drainage feature.
Yes, proper grading directs water away from your foundation, which is a key step in protecting Dallas homes built on expansive clay soil. Water pooling against a foundation can cause the clay to swell unevenly and lead to structural issues.
We work on residential grading projects of all sizes across Dallas, TX. Whether you need a small area regraded near a patio or a full yard correction, we assess each site before any work begins.
Dallas clay soil expands when wet and contracts when dry, which shifts grades gradually over years. Soil settlement, tree root activity, and added hardscaping all change how water moves across your property.
We walk the full property to assess existing slopes, drainage flow, and problem zones before any soil is moved. That site evaluation shapes the grading plan so corrections are accurate and built to last.
