FTX recently build our pool and spa combo and did an amazing job from the construction quality and custom finishes. One of the best experiences I had was able to deal directly with the owner Gio to address any concerns and final design. He really takes pride in his work. FTX is not the cheapest or the most expensive pool company out there but if like to build a custom and higher quality pool they are your best choice. Overall very satisfied with the final product

Expert Concrete Installation in Dallas, TX
FamousTxpoolsandconstruction handles concrete installation for Dallas, TX residential and commercial properties. Our work covers driveways, patios, walkways, pool surrounds, slabs, and retaining walls. Every project starts with proper site prep. Dallas sits on expansive clay soil that swells when wet and shrinks when dry. That soil movement is one of the leading causes of cracked and uneven concrete across the area. We account for that from the start, grading the site, compacting the base, and sizing slab thickness to handle the load and ground conditions specific to your property. Dallas summers also push temperatures into triple digits, which affects how concrete cures. We adjust our process to prevent rapid moisture loss during hot weather pours. The result is a stable, long-lasting surface that holds up against North Texas heat, heavy rain, and shifting ground. If you are ready to add or replace concrete on your Dallas property, contact FamousTxpoolsandconstruction for a site visit and quote.

Concrete Installation FAQ
Common questions about concrete installation in Dallas, TX.
We install driveways, patios, walkways, pool surrounds, slabs, and retaining walls for Dallas residential and commercial properties. If you have a specific project in mind, call us and we will confirm whether it falls within our scope.
Dallas clay soil expands when wet and contracts when dry, which pushes and pulls on slabs from below. Without proper base prep and adequate slab thickness, that ground movement leads to cracks and uneven surfaces.
A site visit gives us the clearest answer, but widespread cracking, significant settling, or sections that have shifted more than an inch typically point toward replacement. Surface-level cracks with a stable base may be candidates for repair instead.
Yes, pool surrounds and decking are part of our concrete installation work in Dallas. We can match the finish and drainage slope to your existing outdoor space.
Clear the work area of vehicles, furniture, and loose debris before our crew arrives. We handle site grading, excavation, and base preparation as part of the installation process.
Yes, high summer temperatures speed up moisture loss during curing, which can weaken the finished slab if not managed correctly. We adjust our mix and curing approach based on current weather conditions on pour day.
